Featured artist: Bramo kay - Time To Be Heard
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Bramo kay.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Bramo kay: I used to always be a hip hop fan but music was always a part of my life since I was young…. I used to dance and sing along to every song I heard and at some point I started thinkin of ways the songs could have been made better… And that’s when I started freestyling
Don’t do it for the money, just stick to your craft and be passionate about it
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I’ve not been to any concerts as a performer, but I usually join the bands on the streets and give a quick freestyle and disappear… Just to leave people wondering
Best punchline you ever wrote?
That I can’t know… oly my fans can answer that
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Am actually trying to be my own success, so am working on perfecting my music production. I know my level as a rapper is good enough… but good enough is just enough for me…
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends… am more of a revolutionary rapper, so I would turn down any deal that would need me to change my style… Am all about sticking to the roots of the game, and fusing it with the modern style
Any last words?
Shout out to ThaBluestonerz…. That’s the group that perfected my craft…. N Boojy and Gujiraty from Kenya…. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be rapping today
Where can we contact you?
Bramo kay: On Facebook, the name: Bryant Truaent Bryan
Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
