Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Young $wazy.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Young $wazy: I decided to become a hiphop artist when I started writing poetry. After a while I started spitting my poetry with rhythm and found my talent in the 7th grade. I have always had this talent thou. I remember being young, free styling to beats.
The best advice I have heard is to be consistent, and that people like to see, not just hear
What about concerts? Do you play live?
No, I do not perform yet. The closet I have got to that is the school talent show
Best punchline you ever wrote?
The studio my trap, whipping tracks like I was slaving them
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Currently I am working on my mixtape project, DV$IN: $wazy’s Sight.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would sign to a major label. They have to treat me like a family thou. I want to feel safe, and not like it a a job, even thou I treat it like a job. I my team to feel like a family, and I would want them to understand that I would still be myself.
