Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Loso.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Loso: Growing up I was inspired by a numerous about of rappers such as 2 pac, Regimen Emine, Lil Wayne, 50 cent, T.I, etc. I was too young to go around wandering the streets so I would invite friends over to play video games and listen to music. We would come up with silly freestyles. ”Nah they weren’t silly we were serious.” I found making music to be way more fun than playing basketball,video games, anything !
I was told ”Everybody has an opinion, and it’s up to you to let it affect you or not.”
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, I live performing for people. Allowing them a chance to here my music.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”I got killas that’ll kill you if I tell em, kill em ”
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on a project called ”Marathon” which will be featured in my next album ”#ProgressionBeforePerfection”
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign to a major record label only if they are offering a disruption deal…PERIOD
