How did you decide to become an artist?
d. r. e. w. the lyricist: Music has always been a part of my life. I love to write poetry and one day it just transitioned to writing music . I started to write music at 13 and also freestyling. I have a consistent flow and write in all kinds of styles but prefer to use alot of word play. Hip hop is a lifestyle not a trend. A small example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dYXelopQ2o
To be or not to be an artist, entirely depends on where your heart is .
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I am willing to but I have not.

you set your goal bar too low and made it now you think you the best, i set mune higher but failed but still failed above your success.. peace
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Trying to perfect my craft. But do plan to release an official song.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
maybe not i prefer to build my way up like Funk Volume did
