Never Look Back

Featured artist: Kinz Karma - Never Look Back

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Kinz Karma.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Kinz Karma: Well, I decided to take music seriously when a severe drug addiction took over my life and I started to find myself in jails and institutions. Often times in that dark place the only things I had were my pencil, paper, mind, and emotions. My music is a product of my experiences.

Don’t quit five seconds before the miracle happens.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yes, I put everything I have into my live performance. If you take your time to come and see me live, I will make sure it is time well spent.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

”Im ringing bells like the hunchback, Spittin food for thought I’m bringing lunch back. Hit the city so hard it wanna punch back, and Pittsburgh’s the city that my timecard is punched at!”
- Kinz Karma

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I just released my debut EP ”The Genesis” last month, and am already working on my next project.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, as soon as i have a solid fan base. I believe there are tons of pro’s to signing, the biggest one being focusing on the art and not all the tedious details that you need management for. However if I sign it would only be once i have a strong enough following to dictate the terms. I don’t want anybody to own my art.

Any last words?

Sure, shout out to all those who have been coming to my shows. Steve, Shelby, Ben, Erika, Brian, Sacha….the whole fam. All of my fans. Shout out to Three High for being a dope down to earth group. Shout out to God for allowing me another day to breath and speak life.

Where can we contact you?
