Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist M-Acculate.

How did you decide to become an artist?

M-Acculate: It was never really a decision as such, i loved writing poetry as a kid, i fell in love with Hip Hop as a teen, kind of fused the passion for both and found myself writing and freestyling to beats. this was early/mid 1990s, Being from England (U.K.) There was no output what so ever, it was just a hobby, a passion. i would just perform at parties and open mic nights. it wasnt until 2010 i started making music on a professional level after friends continously harrassed and eventually dragged me kicking and screaming into the world of social media! (im a real old school head haha)

Always make the music you would want to hear yourself as a fan, not the music you think fans would want to hear! go about writing every song in the frame of mind that your biggest track was a failure! (i had a mentor with a unique way with words, but it worked)

What about concerts? Do you play live?

ocassionally, not as often as id like too. my city doesnt give much support for hip hop

Best punchline you ever wrote?

not making peace, we came to take the streets, and our mixtapes fly, like lazerbeak.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Im working on what is technically my 5th album, (i released a double album in 2012, a mixtape/album in 2013 and an album this past february) my new project is called Underground Rising, its a compilation of collaborations. every track features artists from different parts of the world, mostly U.K., U.S.A, Australia & Canada. Ive worked with over a hundred M.C’s & producers worldwide prior to this album, ive built quite a rep and following, got to keep on top of that. i have a couple of joint e.p’s in the works, i dont want to officially announce who with until they are put together and 100% happening though. Im halfway through an album with my three man Horrorcore group (Lucifers Apostles) then ill start straight away on my next full solo album. prove my worth so to speak that i do so many collabo’s out of love for the art, im more than capabable of holding down a full album alone! that album will be produced entirely by a long time good friend aswell so im excited for that. Im signed to independent New Jersey based Brikaza Records, we just did our first magazine cover shoot with Probe Magazine. that was awesome. looking into another magazine soon. Im constantly grinding. in the four years ive done this on a serious level, ive appeared on over 60 projects (Singles, Albums, E.P’S & Compilations) i will take that to over 100 before 2015 castsits last sunset!

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would consider any opportunity, im quite educated on the music industry and have some good friends in good places so any decisions going forward would be made with no less than 100% satisfaction, aslong as i keep creative control and the label was right for me, i have tons to offer!

Any last words?

Everyone that pushed and supported me from day one, my big brother Gav, my friends Mikey, Sean, Chopper, Sons Of Liberty, my partners in crime Lucifers Apostles (Rez & Uncle Bungle) Jerzee Joker for seeing my potential and giving me a chance at Brikaza records. My whole Brikaza family, State, Bishop, Kingpin, Grone Methodmaticz, Jay Jacobs, Digi Tribe, theres too many of y’all to name but much love. Brikaza for life!! all my online support teams, Rippin Rhymes, Sunken Sounds, Rukas, Donna, Existence, Hidden, Kore, Chase at Magna Beats, Coast2Coast mixtapes, Again, too many to name but everyone sharing and supporting, you are what makes me an artist and not just another guy with a mic and a plan. Plus to everyone i ever worked with, it was an honor and a blessing! Peace!

Where can we contact you?
