Featured artist: Charlie Kelsey - Ladies Wanna Rap Too

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Charlie Kelsey.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Charlie Kelsey: I decided I was going to become a rapper when I was a kid and by the time I was sixteen years old I was seriously pushing my demo to Major Record Labels, although the Music Industry never took me seriously. Since then I have been actively working on several projects that will showcase my versatility and talent.

You must have more confidence and believe in what you do, If you believe in yourself, then others will too.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I am currently working on my next mixtape, an E.P. and I will be shooting a few video Official videos. I just recently released two mixtapes this year.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Not sure. I would have to read the agreement terms. The pros to me is the marketing I would benefit from due to the popularity of the record label. The Cons are that the music industry has changed and many labels aren’t willing to advance money to artists upfront, so I am Unsure.

Any last words?

I really want to give a shout out to Stu L.I.V.E., My Fam, and Shout out to Newburgh And Sacramento.
