Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Cassius BooShay.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Cassius BooShay: Was taught how to make beats by my girl OOchie Bang when I was 15. Always played ball growing up. I wanted to be a pro ball player so I could promote my music and when the ball didnt work out my music was waiting for me with a fat spliff and cold heinenken like lets jam boiiii

R.I.P to my boy Cordell.. He told me not to be a perfectionist..you will drive yourself crazy trying to make the perfect beat..put out what sounds straight to you

- Cassius BooShay

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Im working on a mixtape with my girl OOchie’s older brother Dro. We’re rockin down here in Miami about to make some moves so be on the lookout for a fun tape to bump

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yeah I would…The pros are having a machine behind you getting that push..the cons would be not having complete creative control if any at all..but at the end of the day its a business and if I can quit my job managing construction projects I would do that in a heartbeat

Any last words?
