Featured artist: B-Eazy - The Underdog Gets Stoned
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist B-Eazy.
How did you decide to become an artist?
B-Eazy: I’ve always had a love for music and as a kid I always new that I wanted to be a rapper. It’s just something about being recognized for your thoughts and opinions that I find appealing.
My homie (Big Los) is always telling me it’s about ”timing” and I’ve found that to be very true.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, I do shows all throughout Chicago, I’ve even been fortunate enough to do a couple shows in othes cities as well.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”The world don’t move to the beat of one drum and we ain’t all have Philip Drummin”
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working on ”The Lonely Stoner Ep” which is scheduled to be dropped on DatPiff.com sometime in June. And I just so released ”The Underdog: Prelude” on DatPiff.com back in January!!!
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would, but at this point it would either have to be a joint venture or strictly distribution!!! The pros and cons are simple being signed entitles the label to a bigger cut and independent artist have more freedom creatively!!!
Any last words?
Yeah, Shoutout to every artist doing their thing in Chicago right now!!! Shoutout… the entire 2 Krazy Ent, 380 Squad Ent…. Shoutout the homie Whodi Gee who’s been really putting in alot of work …. Shouts to Kilo Grams, J-Realz, Smoke Da Don, my homie Streetz a.k.a $olo and the whole Casino Mob!!! And last but not least shoutout the whole Kno Dat Ent.
Where can we contact you?
B-Eazy: You can find me on Twitter @TeamEazyKD
Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
