Thanks for your time. How did you decide to become an artist?
Rello.. when I make the beat I’m Darious Tone, But you can call me Rello.: I started out battling man I was a beast as a kid I started on a website called tightbeatz and gained a rep through winning tournaments ripping rappers heads off. Through that I started falling in love with making actual songs and networking and collabing with the artist on that site. Once I graduated high school, I had already fucked up all my chances to play baseball so I went to a community college where I slacked off skipped all my classes and failed because all I wanted to do was rap, now im here.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yea I have headlined 2 legit shows and opened up a lot the past 3 years, hopefully I can earn a tour soon.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Life short like Vern Troyer, Legacies they live on forever, So if you don’t see the bigger picture now I forgive you nigga you aint know no better/
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently in Canada working on my dream project thats executive produced by my engineer The LJ who has been mastering my music for 10 years. This is our first time making a full project in person I have been sending him files since I was 11. Military kids was my previous effort but it was done from home, this one is my first real studio effort.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea I would if given the right situation it would have to make sense. The pros is that you get to learn what it takes to survive in the industry trough experience the cons would be people telling me how to do me, that’s a no no.
Shoutouts and credits to the fam?
I wanna send a huge shout out to God, my family for supporting my decision to pursue music, my managers and publicist. Shout out to the whole state of North Carolina and a HUGE shout out to everyone in the 910 area from Jacksonville to Fayetteville and most importantly every fan that tunes in and spreads my music.
