Featured artist: Larceny Streetz - Larceny Streetz…just another Baltimore rapper????
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Larceny Streetz.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Larceny Streetz: I became an artist mostly coming from a background of music from my mother being an artist signing top a major and goin on tour to my uncle who was local celebrity dj…I’ve been creating music since about seven yrs old..I always wanted to do it but it wasn’t until right before my first prison stint that started taking it serious and understanding that I had people behind me that believed I had the talent to take my music to the masses
stay consistent and be your self
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I play live shows
Best punchline you ever wrote?
been had game for ages/like Sega backwards
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
currently I’m finishing up a solo release called”GIVE EM HELL OR GIVE EM SHELLS”. recently finished a group project entitled ”you’re welcome” by my group ROTTEN MONEY..
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign to a major however the situation would have to be beneficial to all involved parties…the pros of a label is you basically get a co sign that you wouldn’t have had independently…cons to me would that the industry is similar to the street because it’s always someone lookin to get over on you
Any last words?
S/o to the whole ROTTEN MONEY camp, BLOCK ALLIANCE, Bmore, the whole dmv, Brooklyn N.Y.
S.d.e, king los, starrz, and any and everybody who took part in the creation of my projects and fruition of my goals and dreams
