How did you decide to become an artist?
Ninja Scroll: I started out in high school rapping with friends but I really started taking it seriously when I met Hooks and Trapz from the Zu Ninjaz of the Wu Tang Clan Family. He liked the beats that I made and asked me to make beats for them.
Stay true to yourself and speak about what you really know and what you believe in.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I play live and give concerts.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
John 8:32 – Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working on my new album called ”The Truth Hurts” which is set to be released this summer. My last album ”United Slaves of America” was released on August 27 2013.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No I wouldn’t. The pros would be the major label backing you get but the cons would be you really can’t control your content.
Any last words?
First I wanna thank God for everything. I want to shout out to Michael Myers, Lore Arcane, Pythagoras The Praying Mantis, DJ Jaswa, LJC 3000, Gremelan, and all the truth music artist out there spreading the real truth about the things going on in this world.
