Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Huniie.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Huniie: I didn’t, it found me, and wouldn’t give me peace until I submitted……..
The best advice I was given as an artist was to be true to myself and don’t try to copy anyone else.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I also play live and give concerts.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Pollinating the earth, one seed at a time……..
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working on my new community organization, 2 new cds, 20 books and a few paintings.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I can’t say unless I read a contract and prayed. Pros is that you have someone else helping get you out there. Cons, if a better deal comes along, your stuck. You don’t have as much freedom with a label as if you are an indie.
Any last words?
I want to shout out my children, producers, publishers, God, fans, supports and friends. Thanks you all.
