Featured artist: Lo Quorleone - More Than Music
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Lo Quorleone.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Lo Quorleone: I’ve wanted to be a ”rapper” since I could walk. I went from rapping music I grew up on like DMX’s ” Slippin” to Drake’s ”So Far Gone” entire mixtape. I found that music was the only way for me to express how I really felt and not be judged. But at in all MUSIC IS MY ESCAPE.
Be yourself. Nobdoy can do you but you. There’s a difference between a rapper and a true ”Artist”.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes. I would like to have more shows for exposure but I know in time it’ll come.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”I’m from a city where heaters kept in the coldest parts, built it up from nothing with my team call it Noah’s Arch”.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
My highly anticipated mixtape. No, I wasn’t as focused and devoted to music until a previous situation opened my eyes.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, thats my aim as of now. pros would be the lifestyle it brings but that falls under a con too. I’m prepared.
