Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist M Squared (Group of: Hanstead and Eightz).
How did you decide to become an artist?
M Squared (Group of: Hanstead and Eightz): We have both been in love with rap music since late primary school and haven’t really listened to much else. I (Hanstead) started writing rhymes and became obsessed with it. Obviously written rhymes is never enough and the next thing I new I was I was recording. I was rubbish, but enjoyed it. As I got older I had a few issues and got myself into a lot of fights, which i hated. So in the end i used rap and music to get rid of the anger rather than taking it out on others in fight and by just being a dick. So basically it became councillor lol.
Do the music for you, do your music from the heart and people will take notice.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
We currently only do the odd pub gig, but will hopefully be doing alot more this year.

I ain’t a diss artist
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
We have just released our latest group album The Re-Birth. Its a free project and you can get it streamed or can download it.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
100%, anyone who says the dream is not to make it to the majors is a liar in my opinion. Cons – they may try to change you, Pro – its a major label thats enough
