Featured artist: Young Jefe - A young legend in the making
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Young Jefe.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Young Jefe: I have always had love for music but never thought i was good at it untill people around me started telling me i had a gift. i still didnt listen to the people though i was hard head and still in the streets. then with my back on the wall with no place to turn i tried my hand in music. im new at this but my fan base is growing fast and people love my music also with the news that i am going to be a father soon has put me into overdrive mode.
Always be your self when you are fake or trying to be what you are not people know, dont follow anybody or try to be the next lil wayne, jeezy ect just be the one and only young jefe.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes i do, i had a show in va last week i have another one on the 5th and 9th in charlotte nc.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
this is hard but….and you know me only rollin og make her cum so fast that she say my dick is 4g and i got 2 plays got 2blocks in a shoe box and im riddin to that 2chainz my new name is 2glocks and im so deep in that pussy she like gahhhhh daaamn is it 2 cocks???!!
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I just finished my first mixtape called trap legend. Now i am in the middle of helping 3 of my people on my label finish they mixtape and im also working on a ep.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes if the time and deal is right. the pros are that big check and you now have the links to people places and things all over the world that you did not before but the cons can be very bad people get tricked in they deals and manager by not rading and understanding the paper work also once you have that contract if your not happy its not much you can do about it.
Any last words?
