Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Kid Jabari.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Kid Jabari: I decided to be an artist when my brother introduced me to Wiz Khalifa. After I started listening to him, I would watch his videos and act like I was him. Then I wanted to be a rapper so I could live the life he was living.
Just keep working hard non-stop, the more effort you put in the more prople would cling to you.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
No I haven’t I am working on my new mixtape first.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
JUL the hottest rap group in the game, yeah people we know
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am working on a mixtape called ” # O.U.C.H! ” Yes but it was a couple of rap freestyle videos.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes that would be great. I think the pros would be you get money with your record deal, also they pay for your videos. But the cons I think would be not being able to put your artistic views on the videos or even not being able to get your album out without a hot single.
