Featured artist: d2 Pacman - What’s the world without Enigma?
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist d2 Pacman.
How did you decide to become an artist?
d2 Pacman: For me, it all started in high school when I wrote my first remix ever staying up all night to complete a task no one would ever see. I crumpled up the paper because I was afraid of being laughed at. I’ve always loved music and always will. I have a lot to say that should be heard, my story will captivate people. I decided officially to become an artist when I was 19 and I would freestyle rap with my friends and they all would tell me I have real talent. This gave me the confidence I needed to give it my all and get my first EP produced. Unorthodox Chronicles- The Prequel.
The best advice I have ever been given is to do me and not let anyone stop my dream. I tell myself this everyday.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I do perform events and concerts, i have not performed an official one but given the opportunity i would jump at the chance.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I’m the one true Pacman
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I have a few songs on my soundcloud that i have released. I am currently working on multiple projects and i am always working on a project of some sort. i do not take time off, i won’t allow myself to rest until i make it to where i want to be. The next project to be released will be on April 1st 2014, Unorthodox Chronicles- The Prequel.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i would have to fully examine the contract before signing with a label, i would have to make sure that i keep control of my name and likeness.
