Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist UgolyE.
How did you decide to become an artist?
UgolyE: Started as a hip hop writer for a guy name DT.Williams. Back in NYC. I moved to Oklahoma and began looking for artist to record as a producer. Long story short I couldn’t find anyone interested in my sound as an artist so I became the artist.
Know the business. Not just as an artist all of it in detail.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes. I am in rehearsal to present a live show after the release of my next cd.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Peep pressure, the pressure that makes a man, when you mostly measured my the treasures in hand.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am always working, I released a single last year, and will have two releases this year.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. I don’t think I would sign a deal with a major if JayZ himself wrote the check. It’s not in my best interest I doubt some one could make it worth the work for me to do it..
Any last words?
Just would like to thank all those who listen, and like my music. Thank you to my one man camp Brahezo. I’m basically solo. Would like to work with others .
Where can we contact you?
UgolyE: Http://www.reverbnation.com/ugolye
Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
