Featured artist: T Floz - New ohio artist on the rise?
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist T Floz.
How did you decide to become an artist?
T Floz: Actually I fell in love with hiphop when I was about 5 years old, My mom and dad would listen to rap music in the car all the time. I knew every song that would come on the radio, Plus my dad had a madd cd collection so.. I was exposed to music as a child. And every since then I knew that this was what I wanted to do when I got older.
The best advice i was given as an artist was to always stand out and to make myself different than the others that pursue the same things as me.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, Every so often we do a show where we get alot of unsigned artist together and have an artist showcase. preforming is fun I love to do it.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
It’s hard t say I have so many but one i like the most is, ”N***a dissin me then he just tryna get his name known, Boi my name be ringin in that booth just like a pay phone” Lol
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Yes I’m actually working on two solo projects now and I just put out my first mixtape on datpiff called ”Thinkin To Myself” So go out and support that.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would love a good distribution deal with a major and a separate deal giving me control over my own music group. But nothing more than 3 albums at a time.
