Featured artist: SIRE aka SSIAH - COMIN STRAIGHT OUTTA NOWHERE
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist SIRE aka SSIAH.
How did you decide to become an artist?
SIRE aka SSIAH: Always loved to dance to music in public-weddings, get togethers, whatever. Was’nt afraid to get in front of folks an entertained them. Loved hiphop for a good while know especially when it was organic. Nowadays hiphop is like a cartridge of ink being used in printer over and over, now what is being put out there is faded. I come to change the cartridge so hiphop will be strong again. So I am the savior come to resurrect hiphop! So the weakened state of hiphop has called me to take action and become an artist.
Hiphop is a game so research to learn the rules if you wanna be successful.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, I do live shows and concerts.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Super-cali-fragilistic-expiali-docious, you need a telescope to scope out my dopeness.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am working on my second project entitled RARE BREED, its coming soon. Looking for some more banging beats to complete the album. I am very choosey when it comes to music.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yea, but I would have to be offered some type of monetary advancement. Thats easy, independant means you are in control of all your written and recorded works and moolah and being signed to a major label with probally be the opposite of that.
Any last words?
I am representing Myrtle Beach, SC and every city in the world that love relatable hiphop music. I am also reppin my family; alive and deceased along with falling hiphip pioneers of the past. Shoutouts to Soup Beno at Hoodboy Records, AGR of Harlem Six, and YNC. Oh cant forget my followers, fans, and even myhaters; I sincerly appreciate you all.
