How did you decide to become an artist?
All Hail Y.T.: I was born into music. My mother was a singer in the 80's and early 90's, my uncle was a rapper. I got it from them.
Try and set yourself apart. Don't just copy what you hear others doing. Bring something that's missing to the table.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, I do perform nation wide! Catch me in your city this summer!
Best punchline you ever wrote?
When I was born crack was at it's worst, and my pops was a hustler, it's only right I spit crack in my verse.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Currently I'm working on a new project titled "AmerikKkan Greed". In the past I released an album with my group "Green City" and scarface of the ghetto boys. The album was called Brand New Money. In the past I've worked with DJ Clue, Mannie Fresh, Trae The Truth, Bun B and many more.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
At this point I would sign with a major. The pros are more exposure and avenues you may not be able to obtain on your own. The cons will be a lesser percentage of sales. But I always say 15% of something is better than 0% of nothing.
