Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist D’Shawn Eatmon.
How did you decide to become an artist?
D’Shawn Eatmon: It’s been in my blood…with me since i was a child. I came out of my mom singing ”Happy Birthday To Me”.
The minute you’ve thought you tried everything and feel like giving up…Don’t. The door you’ve been waiting for is about to be opened.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I play live and have opened up for several in concerts.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Fake artist wearin fake plastic jewels they thinkin they playin us like a fool
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’ve release a full album and two singles. Working on my next album as we speak.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign with a major if the conditions are right. Otherwise, if I had all the marketing and promo i needed as an indie artist, i would keep it that way. More money, more freedom, less middle men.
