Featured artist: Pete Guapeton - Above All Doubt
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Pete Guapeton.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Pete Guapeton: I been recording music since the age of 13 influenced by the struggles, pain, and sacrifice i seen my parents go through raising 3 kids and the troubles of coming up in a bad neighborhood and not always making the best choices running with the wrong crowds but i always enjoyed music and appreciated good lyrics
Where ever you go there’s always someone who hasnt heard your music so always keep it handy, and stay networking you want to know every body every where you go.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
yes i have done live performances at several venues i always enjoy doing them and love the energy i get from the crowd it makes me feel alive since the first time i was never nervous always anticipated it
Best punchline you ever wrote?
aint got no chill the fam need a hot meal grama gotta pay the bills plus im shooting for a record deal
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
right now im working on my self produced self made debut mixtape titled Above All Doubt this will be my 3rd official project my last project is available on bandcamp right now for free
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes i would but im very cautious.
Any last words?
i wanna give a shout out to first and foremost my family for always supporting my dream my team label New Money ENT everybody in Philadelphia who rock with me and also everybody in chicago who follow and show love my wife and child love yall and just every and anybody who supports me and what i do
