Featured artist: Big sir loon - What the west has been missing
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Big sir loon.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Big sir loon: I remember watching yo mtv raps and seeing the dude Special Ed and thinking like damn dude cool as fuck lol. I new I was just as cool so I was eager to figure out how I would sound on tape and I learned how to freestyle from that moment and he was from the east so by the time rap came to the west I was already starting to vision myself as one of the California artist who will represent my area in the future and here I am today.
Opportunities come around and go as fast as it came so when the window of opportunity opens don't hesitate to dive in it.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I put on shows for all types of different crowds and audiences and Iove performing.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I spit punchlines like outlining body's with cool aid, wet niggaz bodies like the splash that the swimming pool made
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I have a huge catalog of singles on iTunes and am currently a part of the Pomona city movement , a project promoting peace and unity threw music.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm willing to sign with a major if an agreement is reached on terms I'm happy with, the pros would be having a team that works to build my brand, the cons are you having to pay a corporate loan that's far more than you imagine went into your marketing .
Any last words?
