Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Cj Wires.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Cj Wires: I have always had an interest in music, I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock because that was mainly what my dad listened to. Artists such as Rush, AcDc, Johnny Cash, Ufo etc. established my love for the genre. But when I first started listening to rap artists like Tupac, Snoop Doog, 50 cent, Ludacris and other early 2000s music I found my true calling in music. Writing raps really helped me especially when dealing with problems like bullying, and not having a lot of friends. But senior year of high school is when rap really became important to me, because I started to realize that I could actually go somewhere with my music.
Believe in yourself even if nobody else does.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
At the moment I've never played live but I hope to change that soon.

I'm a motherfucking dragon get to calling me spyro
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I'm currently working on a song with my group PaRty BaBylon, and I have a couple songs on soundcloud
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
that's a hard question to answer, the obvious pros of getting publicity and recognition sometimes out shadow the cons like losing sight of the music, or growing apart from people.
