Featured artist: Artist_LR - The Artist_LR In Depth
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Artist_LR.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Artist_LR: Becoming an artist started as a thing to pass time. The craft became more challenging with different obstacles that ultimately created a path of self reassurance for me. Being an artist represents a certain creed about myself that is upheld in the most professional manner, treating this craft not like a job but a lifestyle.
The best advice given to me as an artist is, "Continue to work hard, always promote yourself, and always be prepared for an opportunity.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
As an Artist of course I play live and have had many gigs but have yet to have an actual full concert; and yes I'd love to do so!
Best punchline you ever wrote?
(Freestyle) It's hard to choose one like I'm Neo…It's hard to be son like I'm Theo…But Huxtable money get pooh's next to honey and I'm lying my heart out on Leo…
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Right now I am currently working on another street album entitled: Music and All. My last work of art can be found on Datpiff or Bandcamp and it was entitled: Dedicated Fate
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign with a major if the deal was not what's commonly referred to as a 360 deal. The pros of a major is of course the connections and equipment available at hand but the cons are along the lines of freedom of expression, choice, and decisions to work with whom ever wherever, whenever.
Any last words?
The city I am always in representation of is Ft. Lauderdale, Florida a city by the name of Lauderhill (AKA) DEEPSIDE.
I'd like for all of my fellow artist' to continue striving and I would like to see you all at the top as healthy competition and all respect to @LeoVelli, @BARZDAMU and the FlyMind Poets movement (NEWGA).
