Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist slick davis.
How did you decide to become an artist?
slick davis: i actually started writing when i was 8. I recorded my first song at the age of 12 ” wax it all off ” and fell in love with the music. As i continued to grow the things i did and problems i faced in my life time allowed me to create a vision of my life. Now im on my second mixtape ” this to get rich” coming late december or top January … I may not have a drop date but this mixtape will change vegas sound, vibe, outlook , and competition because its one hell of a mixtape.
The best advice given to me as an artist was ” let your work speak for you its sad in your best words”
What about concerts? Do you play live?
no. im still local seeking for a break threw but trust me give me the chance & ill take it

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
i released a mixtaped last year and one on the way called ” This to get rich” dropping late december or early january but im hopin it creates something i can work off
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
well everyone is in to going independent as of now but that only works for a few, i would take the label route as long as i can add my own standpoint and opinions, i wanna have a word not just participation its more to come. this to get rich coming soon
