Who Has Culture Shock?

Featured artist: Culture Shock Sounds - Who Has Culture Shock?

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Culture Shock Sounds.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Culture Shock Sounds: I decided to become an artists because music had always been such an important part of my life from the highs to the lows that i knew that i wanted to have as positive an effect on peoples lives as i had growing up with all the amazing artists of the 90’s. As much as i loved the music around me i always felt that there was a piece missing and that played into my decision to start making my own music. This is the life and i feel very fortunate to be part of such an amazing moment in music and the world.

The best advice ever given to me and my art is that you can’t control peoples emotions and how they feel so work as hard as you can and don’t worry bout the rest because it will be harder to ge your friends to listen you your music than the world so you can’t be worried about anyone else.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

As a producer i do not play live shows but my artists on the label always are so i get to enjoy watching my music played in front of a live crowd which is very exciting!

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Touch The Road Records Blowin Up Like Some Reefer
- Culture Shock Sounds

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I am working on my debut mix tape with best of Culture Shock Sounds displayed on a double disc of hip-hop and R&B and the remixes of those tracks. Recently I have been working with one of my favorite artists St.Paul to get his mix tape together as well as bringing new artists on the label to make the team stronger!

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would sign a major label contract depending on the conditions because a major label can get your music to more people but of course all artists are afraid of giving up their creative control and that seems to be an issue when being part of a major label

Any last words?

Big Shout outs to the whole Touch The Road Records Crew! My family because without you i would be nuthin and ofcorse shout out to my fans and supporters because without you this is just a hobby!
