Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Goon On Deck.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Goon On Deck: I fell in love with hip hop at a very young age. My mother didn’t like it so I had to sneak and listen to it. I started writting my own songs when I was 8 years old. I use to get in trouble because my mother use to find raps in my school books. Kept on writting and developed my style and ran with it. Linked up with my partner Lino Cordova and created a whole new energy

Yes I do live shows

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Wrapping up my solo mixtape ”Mobzilla”, just released a group mixtape on May 23rd O.M.O.E.F.M – The Campaing, TTS – Twin Towers hosted by DJ Cassius Caine (available on Live Mixtapes), TTS – Instrumental Killaz volumes 1 thru 3 (available on datpiff.com)
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the deal. But I prefer to grind and get it on my own
