Featured artist: Trill Cut - Florida’s Diamond in the Rough
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Trill Cut.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Trill Cut: I really didn’t decided to become an artist. I grew up in a family or musicians so I was always around it at home. After graduating college, I was able to spend more time on music aside from work and family and found a way to get my ideas out visually and musically.
Follow your heart and you will be happy.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I perform in Gainesville Fl often. But I have also performed through out FL, NC and Boston.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
You already kno!
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am releasing ”Head Heart Hand” June 20th in dedication to Bethune Cookman University. My previous releases are Underground Sounds, #MoneyDreams, and the Coota Brown Mixtape featuring my group Blu Ray.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. It would have to be a deal that makes sense though. The only con I can think of is being in a situation which I can do my thing artistically but a huge pro is being able to reach the mass of people easier and getting out my vision more efficiently.
