Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Nino Rose.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Nino Rose: I started writing as early as 10 years old.
I didn'the take it seriously until I got my own studio in 2009 though around my 17th birthday. Ever since then I knew this was my calling.
Be yourself and do not put yourself in a box because it will be hard to break out of it.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I've done a couple shows and I'm currently working on more.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Bag of explosives, beat you and drag you while grabbing something jagged and stabbing you open, & that's just to cram the explosives in back of your skull and stitch that shit back fo' them bastards exploded.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I'm working on a collaboration EP with my label mate Rex wonder as well as my follow up to my 2013 mixtape PURP which is title PURP2. I'm also doing videos for every song on my soundcloud that has a decent amount of views.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would be down to do that.
Not anything long term though because I honestly want to start my own label & get a distribution deal. I need creative control of my music and career but I would sign on the dotted line for the right amount of money so I can get my name out there quicker.
