Rapper Sensei Dre is inciting a change

Featured artist: Sensei Dre - Rapper Sensei Dre is inciting a change

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Sensei Dre.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Sensei Dre: It wasn't really a choice to me. Music has been in my bloodline for generations. My father is still a guitarist in a band to this day. I was always writing and freestyling since I was about 13 but it got to a point where I got tired of holding back and the grind is non stop now.

The best advice I was given to as an artist was to never feel like you're too good to feature or to show love to anyone. Remain humble and give a mutual respect to artists that share the same passion as you.

- Sensei Dre

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I just had my first show with my own set this past April 8th. Before that I had just done talent shows and featured with people at their shows. I have a few shows lined up now so be on the look out and come catch the good vibes!

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Don't leave no scraps for me to eat. I'm a wolf in Sheeps clothes and I'm out on the creep.
- Sensei Dre

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Right now I'm just working on pumping out tracks. I'm trying out different styles in most my songs. So for now I'm experimenting, trying to find my nitch. I may compile all these songs for a mixtape but in the near future I'm dropping an EP called "the Mojo Dojo."

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I'm with my independent label so if a major label wants me my team coming with. So you might as well sign all of Revere MG like TDE did with aftermath. The pros of being signed to a major label would be always having that exposure and having the connections to give out the best quality of entertainment. The cons would be them trying to have creative control over me and not being able to leave until my contract is over if I'm not satisfied with their business.

Any last words?

Ahhh man you're going to hate me for this one. Shout out my independent label Revere Music Group. Shout out the Versi Co. Movement. Shout out Alby Golden,P-Lo,Deltizzle, Lewie, Nathan King, Young J, Wyze Dom, and everyone else over at The Insiders Experience. Matt what up!?!? Oooh and i can't forget my family! Momma I luuhhh yaaaa!
