How did you decide to become an artist?
Myke Grymz: Myke Grymz…
A name that was born to be known across America on April 4, 1984 in Hinesville, Georgia, Michael Anthony Stephens, II, named accordingly as his father's Michal Anthony Stephens first-born son. Being born as what society calls a military brat, he traveled alot. Currently residing in Jonesboro Georgia, Myke Grymz has been in the studio recording, working a 9 to 5 on the side to invest in his music project.
New York! New York! Is all he knows, raised in New York since the age of 4…Bronx, New York, where some of the hottest rap originated…artist like Slick Rick, Big Pun, Krs One and many more. Overall Inspired by the hip hop culture he was raised around…with artist like Das Efx, Pharcyde, Snoop & the Dogg pound, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and many more. Surrounded by the sounds of the culture he began to take the craft of rap music seriously and found his voice. Rough around the edges, he was committed in making a well-respected and successful brand.
Born to be a star…Myke Grymz…a unique name created by the nickname "Mike" and of course being incredible on the "mic" and getting "his grimey style".
Poetic delivery and hot lyrics puts him in a lane of his own, where he is fearless and unstoppable. Bringing a creative art, a spoken word—laying down a new type of foundation—to the music industry and rap game is his objective.
The sound is vocally witty, lyrical, and hard-hitting… with tough tracks to seal the deal!
Myke Grymz has been performing throughout the city of Atlanta at some of the hottest clubs like, Harlem Nights, Level 2, Future lounge, MTV lounge, and many more. His gritty sound and high-energy performances, has been gaining him more fans on the streets and on social media sites. The recognition in the music industry and rap game he deserves.

His pre-mixtape "INCOGNITO" released in September 2015, gaining him buzz on the streets of Atlanta…hits like "WALK UP ON ME" and "BREAK YA NECK". …followed up with his sophomore project and first official mixtape "GRYMZ…A GRIMEY POINT OF VIEW," expected to release March of 2016.
His third "RECUSANT" will showcase a more conscious flow, with melodic hooks, and original beats, and live band performances to be released October 2016.

What about concerts? Do you play live?
I currently don't. I started out writing poetry, which later transitioned in me becoming a songwriter. So I look forward in learning and mastering the acoustic guitar, piano and drums.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I just released my first official mixtape titled "GRYMZ…A Grimey Point of View". In March 2016. I will be focusing on doing shows, and self promotion through unsigned independent platforms.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
With the right team behind me possibly, however look forward to the independent route.
