Featured artist: Christopher Evol - Poetica
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Christopher Evol.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Christopher Evol: I went to fine arts school for 6 years, and wanted to work on an independent project. About 14 months ago I started with a year of poetry performance art piece, which turned into the beginnings of a career. It slowly morphed into music.
"No one gives a shit about your freestyles, you need to create songs."
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes. I do open mics, I also have a tour pending roughly 6 months from now.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Encripted scripture ripped up and hit a stripper with it to make it rain, insane as a vain with heroin in it.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Just released Poetica. My first EP.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, probably not. But if it was best for my team I would.
Any last words?
