Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Just Another Sensation.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Just Another Sensation: I was first in a punk rock band called BloodWritten. I played lead guitar but hated that we could never switch instruments, I taught myself drums, guitar, how to sing, piano, bass, trumpet and violin. For some reason the band mates didn't wanna share. So fuck em. I listen to rap on occasions, tech nine, busta rhymes, dmx, Eminem, but never really thought of rapping, till one day I listen to "Donald Trump" by Mac Miller. Now when I saw that I said to myself, that's looks easy. I was 16 and my music was garbage at first, just horrible, fuck… Till a couple months past and I worked harder on my flow, my style, my attitude into it and here I am today, performing in cities I never even step in until there is a show for me to perform. Shit happens.
Listen to me, no matter what they say or do be yourself. They hate when a n***a so comfy in his skin.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Of course I play live. I hit up La and Beverly Hills all the time, I Live in the HB (harbor city) the drive is long, but the shows worth it.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
see I work late nights for the music I give/ 9 to 5 feeling you don't know it to you live/ in the studio late night roll it up fade right/ with the beat so sexy you gotta take it on a date night/ so good finally getting paid right / a cliche talking about a date night / notebook story white boy boring/ we talk about his music but he makes it so corny/ born as a poor me now they just pour me/ drink inside the bottle we ain't talking about a forty, blue Bombay biurn green by the foreign/ stand out style girl you got me writing stories.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
My mixtape "Sky dreams" did decent numbers, about 2,000 downloads on datpiff. But now I'm working on an EP, it's called "Hangover" EP dedicated to my favorite movie the hangover feat. Zack falgicanakis (the fat one). I'm trying to see it thru 3rd perspective view of the movie while making the story (w/ music) as it goes.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, you gotta feel like home thoe, if the vibe is good and there is mutual respect for the artist and company then yes.

I love to give a shout out the Mr. Whitedogg out here in harbor, heard he's doing big things with Tee fly. And I wanna thank the people who support me musically. One day I wanna give back to my community and make my city proud. We're a small town but we have the opportunity to make big stars. Let's go for it.
