Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Rufio G.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Rufio G: I've always been around music since I was young and I started writing around 13. So for me it was something I was always going to do.
Music isn't just a passion to me it's life.
Be original, stay humble and work as hard as you can.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I will be performing at many different events in the future, you will have to keep track of my reverberation page for all upcoming information on performances.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Independent artist but I'm doin major, go hard on tracks duppy riddems for the raver.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
The single "Dear Miss aka Love Letter" is out on 7th of February and will be available on iTunes, Google play and most other online retailers and will also be available to stream. The " #Refix E.P" and the "Bangarang E.P" is available for free download on datpiff.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would concider signing to a major but the deal would have to be right. At the moment I'm happy being an independent artist and having full control of what music I make. I'd never want to loose having creative control and I'd never want to be pushed into making a song that was just commercial rubbish. I make music that's real and I'll never stop doing that.
