How did you decide to become an artist?
Willie Dropkick: It started as a freestyle session in my friend's garage. We would always go there, shoot pool, and throw on some instrumental beats. I would just rap & play around. Over time my built up confidence & dreams of becoming a dope hip hop artist came together. From there on, I started writing and perfecting my voice, practicing day after day….
It's not who you know…it's who knows you!
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I have performed several times at many locations around the south.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
"I murder tracks call me homicide Willie…Look like my daddy, but I got my momma side in me"!
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I'm currently working on my new mixtape titled "#RealLeather" , I also have my first EP on my soundcloud that is titled "Presidential Dropkick"!
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would. The pros would be that I can constantly make music & do shows. Cons would be that I'd be away from home, but I'm ready for the road life.
