How did you decide to become an artist?
Emcee Versityle: I started when I was about 16 years old, after coming from doing poetry. I decided to be an artist so I can have fun with poetic type wordplay.
It wasn't something that was told to me necessarily, but it was more if when I heard Tech N9ne speak the truth by saying ' Just do you, and the reward will be greater.' I can't remember where I heard that from though, but I know tech said it
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I've appeared a few times for Coast2Coast LIVE in Las Vegas, but no not really. I haven't had many shows. I'm working on that though
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I'm gonna get inside your brains/and make the mainstream go insane/So it's best to be aquainted/I'm the next to be ingrained/In this game/in this industry/Consistent with my victories/My wit is my artillery/My spit befits the illest see/Rockin the mic/With what I concoct In my mind/Over the top when I write/Yo This shit I jot is divine
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Currently I am working on, in my opinion, my best mixtape thus far. It is my third project, and yes I have released 2 other mixtapes called "End Of Time" and "Talk Of the Town"
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm still conflicted with the idea. Pros for it are that I wouldn't have to stress about money as long as I stay relevant, but the cons is that I may lose creative control. That's just one pro and con of each, I can go on forever back and forth
