Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist j leander tucker.
How did you decide to become an artist?
j leander tucker: I feel more like I was born an artist than I became an artist, you see, music has to come from inside you..from your soul. Music is something that you hear, but you feel it as well. You have to realize that the first music that we experience is our Mother’s heartbeat while we are in the womb. This is the music that awakens our consciousness to the fact that we exist and attaches us to the Universal Rhythms of Creation and Life. This Beat is the foundation of all that we are and we grow outward from there.

What about concerts? Do you play live?
Right now I’m doing promotional events for my ”TOXIC OFFERINGS CD.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
The difficult I do immediately, The impossible takes a little longer.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Well, ”Toxic Offerings” is my debut album and promoting is main priority right now, but I am in the studio as much as I can laying the groundwork for my release.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am currently signed with TATE PUBLISHING. Their contract is straightforward and artist friendly and they have the resources to reach the fullest potential of success possible. These are the things emerging artist should look for in a label.

Of course I would like to thank my family at Tate Publishing. They’re the ones who actually launched my career off to a new level, and everyone on social media who liked, commented and reposted.
