Featured artist: Bruce Lean - Greatest Flexer in ”SadLanta”
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Bruce Lean.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Bruce Lean: All happened when I was kickin’ it with my self listening to some cloudrap music and watching Bruce Lee kicking some dudes ass. I was like damn, this music is turning me up to seeing Bruce kick ass, then it hit me. Lean is like hella popular with cloud rappers and Bruce is just such a badass name, so thats how I got the name. I did it for fun first, then after I dropped my first tape last year (which was just something to listen and enjoy nothing too serious) I decided to convey emotions within my music. So starting from January of this year I’ve been working to create something different yet familiar in a way so that people can relate to it. SadLanta dropped Nov.11 and since then has gone to receive good feedback and inspire me too continue to create abstract and innovative music. I will continue to create more music and continue to better the craft with time and experience.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Just released my mixtape ”SadLanta” Nov. 11 , been doing pretty actually. Im currently drafting some ideas likes ep’s with my producers BooedOnlineBeats or TheWillPeterson and maybe some others, not very sure yet, just know that I will only promise better and better material through time.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, money has never been a factor. Only reason I would sign a record deal is if It promised happiness for the whole world, but thats not gonna happen cause I stay in SadLanta. Really, I just want people to come to some of my future shows, turnup, tell their freinds, let me steal their girl, and just have a good time ya know? It’s all about having a good time no matter what situation you may be in life, life is a blessing one should treat it that way!!

Shoutsout to my producers BooedOnlineBeats and TheWillPeterson, just some crazy Kennesaw and SadLanta boys that stay FLEXIN and making some wavy ass beats! Shoutsout to Christain Garcia my photographer and one of my bestfriends, along with Alan Fernandez, Fadil, Blaine, Kush (yes his name is Kush and hes pretty chill), and so many others that be riding with my movement, MY CITY!
