Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Precyce.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Precyce: I decided to become an artist at an early age. I always had a strong love for all types of music and decided to become an artist after I recorded my first song at the age of twelve. My passion and the feeling I get from doing music is really what persuaded me.
Don’t take anything personal, as an artist you must take all critique in a positive manner.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, I do live shows at various venues in the DMV area.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Do I care to much, or is it not enough, why do we seek hurt, and only bottle love.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Im currently awaiting on my debut album Panic Disorder to drop on October 24th. In the past so far i’ve released eight mixtapes and one EP.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign a major label deal if I were allowed creative freedom. The pros to me are that you get major exposure and a nice back from the label itself. The cons are that they have control over what you do or do not do and also their are a lot more hands on your paycheck.
