How did you decide to become an artist?
Dre Williams: I started noticing my surroundings and how they were affecting me so I began to vent on paper about experiences and other people experiences from different perspectives.
The Best Advice I was given as an artist was that talent is GOD given and fame was man driven meaning you only can reach fame if you want to reach to reach it.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I play live. I actually kick off my #DONTTRIFLINTOUR on July 2nd in Atlanta, GA. For more information on dates and times visit www.iamdrewilliams.com
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”Alot women look for wealth sexing rich dudes, Alot dudes playing rich but got bills due”
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently writing R&B songs and Gospel songs since I’m a songwriter. Also everyone should be expecting a project in the fall.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I’m not looking to sign a contract at the moment, I love the freedom of putting out what I love and doing what I want.
