Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Julius.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Julius: My love for music has always been there since a yungin but I really decided to pursue music at my freshman year of college. I remember it like it was yesterday. First year or college, noone knew i could sing except my older sister, which attented the same college as I. At the time the college was having a school talent show, i was not going to attend or join but somehow my sis figured she would go behind me back and sign my name up then told me that i had to audition, i was freaked because i had never performed in front of anyone before other then my family so you already know that i was shook lol but i held my ground and song the hell out of usher- before i met you, made the next stage. The big event came and this time i wasnt just singing in front of two judges i had to sing in front of the whole school, mind you i didnt know what to sing until roommate at the time told me about john legend- this time, learned the song, at least tried to memorize some of the word as best as i could, got on stage song like ive never sang before making up my own words to the song, it was a good thing the song was brand new and noone knew about or have heard the song before, did my thing, had gotten a standing ovation and then i realized this could work for me because deep down i knew school wasnt.

Never give up even when you feel as tho things are not getting anywhere, always keep your head up.
