Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist $Fre$h$.
How did you decide to become an artist?
$Fre$h$: I’ve been doing music since a child. I used to rap in church then I stepped away from it to start writing my own material in 2005. Then I started recording in 2011.
I would have to say being consistent because as long as your in people’s face they can’t stop you
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I have done showcases in front of Da Brat called ATL’s Who’s Got Talent
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I stay fly to death like I got dressed in coffin
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working my 2nd mixtape called B.A.N.G II: The Come Up. The 1st B.A.N.G is already up and on Indy Livemixtapes.com I released it last year
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Possibly when it’s time to drop an album if I haven’t before then. The pros with a label is the money and push they can give. The cons is how they want to control how you spend the money and your creative control
