Featured artist: ALMIGHTY WISE OF GAMERUNNERS ENTERTAINMENT - FROM GHETTO GRIOT TO GHETTO MOZART

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist ALMIGHTY WISE OF GAMERUNNERS ENTERTAINMENT.

How did you decide to become an artist?

ALMIGHTY WISE OF GAMERUNNERS ENTERTAINMENT: I’ve been involved in making hip-hop music since 1986. I started out as an emcee under the name of ALMIGHTY WISE, and released an underground song independently called ”All I See” in 1996. I did the writing, performing, and production on the song…and i found that it was best that I produced my own music because I was able to create what I liked to emcee on. This soon became a full time part of my musical journey, with emceeing taking a backseat as I developed my sound.

Do what you feel represents me the best.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I haven’t had a show as an artist since 1997, but other artists who record my music have performed as recent as last month.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Wow….that is not easy to say…I have a lot of ill ones….lol

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Depends on the deal. My goal is to plant my own flag.
